I thought that the gameplay was really good on Just Cause, i thought that the Cutscenes were crap but it's a game not a movie. I thought that the style was really fun, being able to pull off absoloutly impossible stunts without barely lifting a finger.
Oh well might go and take a look at the weather...
amen to 30.1
had you heard of Peter Kackson before Lord of the Rings?
It's not dead you know
Still looking impressive
Guys it hasn't been cancelled, it's just lost 2 studios. Not the biggest deal in the world.
It's not at what age the person is but how responsible the person is. The ratings system is there to give parents a guide to what the game is like. If the parent thinks that the child is mature nough he can play any game or watch any movie. This has to be with the parents consent however. Anyway that's how it works here in the UK, Halo isn't even given a proper rating here anyway, the only ones people listen to are the ones that say: 12, 15 and 18. The normal game ratings nobody gives a ...
Those vids have now made me want the game so badly for some reason, curse you advertising!
I think you only need one TMX for the lot
And think, give that elmo to a dog and you have a low budget horror movie.
You should read the article in the Guinness Book of Records 2000 about graphical display laws in Germany. Obviously they've changed a bit since then but the escence is still there:
"Most Rigorous Sofware Regulations:
Germany has regulations stipulating that blood shown on computer games be green, and that victims that are likely to end up getting killed are portrayed as zombies, or as far from human as possible"
That's from the GBoR 200-, page 1...
Did i see the right one? Looked kinda short to me, maybe everything is just extra compact in Japan.
Very imformative, the game sounds a lot better now with the right info being displayed.
The game was fantastic (apart from the cutscenes). I don't see how it could have got such bad reviews in the first place. It wasn't supposed to be realistic, just fun and that's what i got out of the box.
I hope this game is good and does well as it will help close the age gap between gamers, a little bit like the Wii in that sense.
This game is a joke! The problem with racing games is that the only thing that really advances is the graphics and physics, well in most it advances...
I do enjoy racing games generally but this was just boring and horrible to look at, if i want to drive around in cars that look like plastic i'll get a matchbox game thank you very much.
By then maybe even organic computers would have started to evolve. Imagine that, a whole microchip in the form of a cell (organic one that is). It would be cheaper to manufacture and many times more powerfull. And maybe the next xbox will be for virtual gaming in the sense that you can actually feel, see and generally sense the environment that you're in. If you've seen the technology expos around the world you'll know that all the technology to do these operations exists already, it just...
Fantastic game, the gameplay is amazing and the enironments looked phenomonal. The only downside to me were the cheesey lines and relatively poor character models.
Why does everybody make such a big deal out of Killzone, it was rubbish the first time round and will be rubbish this time.
Pimp my Ride the TV show = Great
Pimp my Ride the game = WTF where's gameplay in that? How can pimping a car be a video game?
And a reply to bpmurr:
Did you see what they did to the chevy suburban, the ford capri, the caddy... The mustange was the only bad one that i've seen. It seems unfair to judge the whole show on 1 poor episode.
